The builder hall 5 is in middle of the base layouts which is protected by 2 archer tower and fire cracker with air bomb so it doesn’t get a star with air attacks.

That’s why in the base we put mine inside of a wall so the witch should come closer and trigger the mine.

After upgrading your builder to bh6 first thing you should do is upgrade your gold and elixir storage. Then comes a main building called roaster, which is most important in bh6. Without a roaster your base will easily get a 3 star even if you are max.

First try to build a roaster then build everything else. This will be my suggestion.

In this video, the Builder hall is placed in the middle of the base. And it is guarded with main defensive structures like Air Bombs, Crusher, and multi mortar.
More or less. Upgrading collectors and clock tower, plus maybe two or three troops along the way (cannon carts, bombers, and giants are the best combo, IMO), will make things easier but bh9 as fast as possible is the most efficient. Highest level collectors, better clock tower, more army camps, etc. Plus, you can start the Otto grind.

Summary
would set the roaster more at the center or down part. If someone decides you to attack with witches they would probably deploy them at the top corner. And a key to the succes of a witches attack is destroying that roaster so if its far from the attacks comes from the better.
But the counter to that is the multi mortar, while the witches at the top it will be bombarded by the multi mortar and if the attacker decides to tank its witches by luring the multi on the bottom theres still That double canon and archer.
And I personally find it really annoying to have the roster near the air bomb machine thing,
On my replay, the highest percentage I got was a Canon barb, which Is around 60% 2 star While witches didn’t even get a 2 star just 50% one star

Builder Hall 6 What to Upgrade First
The most important thing to upgrade in builder hall 6 is the battle machine, roaster and troops. Upgrading battle machines and troops will help you in battle, and upgrading the roaster will be suitable for defence.
Why can't I Go to Builder Hall Level 6
To go to builder hall level 6, you have all the building of builder hall level 5. Once you have all builders of builder hall 5, in case, you don’t need max builders.

To defend against builder hall 6, you must have max firecrackers, crusher and roster, which is the most crucial defence for builder hall 6.
How do You Attack a Base 6 Builder?
The most famous attack strategy is giant with cannon cart, baby dragon, minions, etc.
When should you upgrade your builder hall?
Once you have a decent upgrade of builders, then you can upgrade your builder hall. Once you reach max builder hall nine, then you will get OTTO.
